Betting Glossary
Key Terms You Need to Know
Understand the basic terms before you start playing. This knowledge helps you make smarter betting decisions.

An Asian-style handicap method that eliminates the draw result by giving a goal advantage to the weaker team, making the odds more balanced.
Over-Under (Totals)
A bet on whether the total points or goals in a match will be more than (over) or less than (under) a value set by the bookmaker.
Odds Format
Odds can be displayed in decimal format (1.85), fractional format (17/20) or American format (+150). All three represent the same payout value in different forms.

Wagering Requirement
The total amount you need to wager before bonus funds can be withdrawn. At wm996, this requirement is 10x the value of the bonus received.
Slot Volatility
A measure of the frequency and size of wins in a slot game. High volatility means less frequent but larger wins; low volatility gives more frequent but smaller wins.
Progressive Jackpot
A jackpot prize that keeps growing as players bet, pooled from a network of games or casinos, until one winner claims it.
Live Dealer Casino
Casino games broadcast live with real dealers from a dedicated studio. Players interact and watch every round happen in real time.
